Blog posts
Since January 1, 2025, I have written every blog post in its original language, from the ideas and structure to the final wording. I review it myself, too.
I do not use AI to generate, complete, rewrite, or reorganize that text. The only tool that touches it is the spell checker. When I quote someone, the passage appears as a quote, with its source.
Translation and images
Once the original is done, AI may translate it into the other language. I read and correct every translation before publishing, and the translated article says at the top which version is the original.
I may also use AI to create images for the site, including the ones that accompany articles. This commitment is about the writing.
Before 2025
I also wrote the articles published before 2025, but back then I did not treat this as a rule. I do not remember precisely whether I used AI in any of them, or to what extent.
I would rather acknowledge that limitation than promise a certainty I do not have.
Human-to-human, no-slop
I use AI at work and to learn, and I like what it makes possible. When I write, I want to keep deciding what I mean and finding the words to tell another person. The opinions and occasional stubbornness are entirely my own.
Someone who takes the time to read deserves to find someone who took the time to write.
